Reflecting on Essence.
Ten years of wandering with a camera in hand have shown me the world in all its multiplicity, a constant source of majestic wonder. It’s in this beauty that one can find the most profound depths of our true being.
Everything is vibration. Sound, light, matter, even thoughts. When we strip away the worldly noise, allowing ourselves to pause & reflect, only then can we see the world in its simplest, most authentic form.
As a former captain sailing tall ships, it’s no wonder the ocean has always been a wellspring of inspiration for me. Over the years, I’ve photographed it hundreds of times, always mesmerized by its magic, its subtle changes, and its calm.
The world is a canvas of woven light. Within the vast emptiness of space, we see stories unfold, narratives playing out, history being made. There is poetry in all life’s happenings. It just takes a single photo to start painting the mind’s picture…
Just as light defines what we see, darkness shapes what we do not. In the space between we perceive the world, as a reflection of our inner states; an ever shifting palette of meaning.
